Hispanic Heritage Month Theme 2024. Each year, americans observe national hispanic heritage month from september 15 to october 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of american citizens whose ancestors came from spain, mexico, the caribbean and central and south america. September 15 marks the beginning of national hispanic heritage month, a time when we commemorate the rich tapestry of history, traditions, culture and contributions of hispanic americans.
Familiar with discrimination back home, many saw their service as affirming the ideals of democracy. Hispanic heritage month, or “mes de la herencia hispana” in spanish, honors the history, culture, food, music and accomplishments of the hispanic community.
